Ex-EPPD Officer Arrested

An ex-El Paso Police officer was arrested by the Department’s Special Investigations unit and has been charged with Sexual Assault.  The offender, William Alexander met the victim after he responded and handled a police call involving the victim.  Later, while off-duty the offender met with the victim and he sexually assaulted her.

The NHPA purchases office building in downtown Concord. Over the years, the NHPA Board has considered whether or not the NHPA should invest in commercial property somewhere close to the downtown area of Concord. The idea was to identify a property that could be a source of revenue for the membership while possibly providing a space for meetings and act as our headquarters.

FBI Releases LEOKA Statistics For 2017

The FBI has released some of the latest statistics on law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in 2017.  On Thursday, the FBI released a portion of the Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted, 2017 report, which said 93 LEOs were killed in the line of duty last year.  Of the 93 LODDs (line of duty deaths), 46 were felonious and 47 were accidental.
